Pat was born in Payette on June 1, 1927 to Harry & Rosetta Lakey. She grew up in Payette and attended Payette schools until her senior year when they moved to Weiser. She graduated from Weiser High School in 1945.
She has touched many lives in this community. She worked as a Deputy clerk for Payette County Treasurers Office for 28 years retiring in April of 1989. She was known for her quick wit and remarkable memory. She enjoyed organizing family reunions and other get togethers. She was our “social butterfly”. She enjoyed trips to Jackpot, spending time at their cabin and having lunch with the girls. Her pride and joy was supporting her grandkids at all of their extra curricular activities. She was a great cook and loved to share her baked goods with friends and family – especially her cheesecake!
Pat is survived by her son-in-law and daughter, Dale and Linda Campbell; her grandchildren, Deanna Stowe, Dan and Lisa Novotny, Brad Campbell, Patti Campbell; her great grandchildren, Michael, Justin and Jacob Novotny and Carson Campbell; her sister-in-law, Cody Lakey, her brother-in-law, Richard (Angie) Elston; two nieces, two nephews and many cousins and friends.
