Michael Frank Gribbin, born August 15th 1945, at the Holy Rosery Hospital, in Ontario Oregon, on the last day of  WW2. The story goes that my mother was being wheeled to the delivery room amongst the dancing, kissing, hugging and shouting of “The War is Over!!” – my mother yelled very loudly over all the noise, “The War is NOT Over until you get this kid out of me!!” Don’t know if the story is true, but sure sounds like my mother.
