Eddie went to WWII in 1944 and Maxine went to work for the phone company in Boise, Idaho, rooming with Eddie’s sister, Delores, until his return from the war in 1946.
Maxine and Eddie were married December 27, 1946.
Maxine and Eddie built three houses during their life together, two in Weiser and one on their farm in Vale, Oregon.
Maxine and Eddie had three children; Steve 6-25-1948 to 11-11-1951, Cindy 1-12-1952, and Mike 9-27-1954.
Maxine worked hard all her life, both on the farm, on the line, and then as a lab technician at Ore-Ida. During her retirement, she loved to spend time in her garden, read from our family’s eclectic library and recently on her Kindle. Maxine loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Maxine taught us all to cook, helped us to develop open minds and to love reading, she will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at the Thomason Funeral Home, 21 E. Court St., Weiser Idaho @ 11:00 AM Mountain Standard Time. Following at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Weiser, beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maxine’s favorite charity, St. Joseph’s Indian School 1301 North Main St. Chamberlain, SD 57325.
