Cheryl A (Coons) Williams
MERIDIAN – Cheryl A. (Coons) Williams, 41, of 280 S Black Cat Road, Meridian, died Thursday, May 9 1985 in a Boise hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, May 13, in the Alden-Waggoner Chapel, Boise. Rev Richard Terry of the First Presbyterian Church, Boise, and Pastor Bill Putman of the Sunrise Christian Church, Ontario, will officiate. Graveside services with burial will follow at 1 pm Monday at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
Mrs Williams, a medical secretary, was born Feb. 13, 1944 at Vermillion, Kan. She moved as a small child with her parents to Payette and grew up in the Oregon Slope area. She attended Weiser schools and graduated from Weiser High School in 1962 where she received the Good Citizenship Award for graduating seniors.
She married Ralph E Williams on June 7 1963 at Payette. They moved to Moscow where her husband attended the University of Idaho. In 1970 they moved to Missoula Mont where her husband worked for the US Forest Service. They moved to the Boise area in 1980 when her husband was transferred here. She had worked as a legal secretary and more recently as a medical secretary for the Boise Heart Clinic.  She was a member of the First Christian Church at Payette and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Boise. Cheryl loved horses and was a member of both the American Quarter Horse and Idaho Quarter Horse Breeders Associations.
Survivors include her husband of Meridian, her parents Dick and Dorothy Coons of Ontario, two sisters Diane Ball of Boise and Melodie Swanson of Weiser, a brother Jim Coons of Ontario and three nephews and a niece.
