Benjamin Franklin Kivett, Jr,
Ben F. Kivett, aged 72, a retired railroad conductor, passed away at his residence in Westport, Washington. His death was reported by Mrs. Kate Johnson, who traveled to Portland upon receiving the news. Mr. Kivett was discovered deceased at his home. He was married to Clara Rose Frank in Spokane on April 11, 1922, and his wife predeceased him on November 4 of the previous year in Lewiston.
Surviving Mr. Kivett are his sons Eugene, residing in Sacramento, and Ben, living in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He is also survived by his sister, Josie Scott of Huntington, Oregon, as well as two half-brothers, John Mack of Huntington and Herbert Mack of Washington, D.C. Additionally, Mr. Kivett is mourned by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Agnes Trumbly.
Funeral services were held at the Orofino Cemetery in Idaho, with burial taking place there yesterday.

Father was killed in gun fight in Waco in 1897. His brother also was killed.
1900 – lived on Commercial Street, Weiser, with Mother (maiden name Nevins) and 2 sisters. They all lived with Nevins family. See Francis Nevins, 1910 grad.
1917 – married Clarice Pearce in Walla Walla.
1920 – lived in Huntington, OR with Mother, Stepfather, Herbert Mack; 2 sisters and 2 half brothers, wife not mentioned. 
1930-40 – lived in CA with wife and 2 kids. Brakeman on RR.
1950 – lived in CA with wife and 1 son. 
1964 – died in Westport WA.
