Dec. 26, 1923 – July 10, 2011
Estus Neal Webb, 87 of Weiser passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. Graveside services are scheduled for 3 pm on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Mann Creek Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 – 6 pm at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, July 13. 
He was born December 26, 1923 in Weiser, Idaho to Golda Rogers Webb and Calvin R. Webb. He grew up on Mann Creek and was schooled in country schools including Enterprise, Saling, Deer Creek and Jefferson. He graduated from Weiser High School in 1942. He attended one semester at Idaho State in Pocatello. In February of 1943 he joined the Navy and was stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas. On December 15, 1943 he married the love of his life, Belva Ruth Launt. She passed away January 11, 1993. To this union came three children; Roger in 1945, David in 1948 and Esta in 1954. After being discharged from the Navy in 1946 he returned to Weiser to raise his family. He worked at several places besides farming. The longest being with Acme Iron Works under Leonard Solt. He truly enjoyed welding and fabricating metal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Wayne and Lyle, a sister Lucille and his wife Ruth. He is survived by his sons, Roger (Peggy) Webb of Salem, Arkansas, David (Betty) Webb of Emmett, a daughter Esta (Ray) Shalz of Weiser, brothers, Kenneth (Donna) Webb of Weiser and Paul (Marrilyn) Webb of O’Fallon, Illinois, 12 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
