DOCTOR ARRIVES IN WEISER (Special) Dr. M.S. McGrath recently of St Louis, arrived in Weiser the first of the week and will be associated with Dr. W.H. Marshall in the practice of his profession. Doctor McGrath was born at Star and was graduated from Washington University, SL Louis Mo where he received his degree in medicine. Prior to attending the St Louis institution he was graduated from the University of Idaho, southern branch.
WEISER – Memorial services for M.S. McGrath, 72, Weiser, who died Friday in Reno, Nev., while visiting a daughter, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Thomason’s Northam-Jones Chapelby the Rev. LeonardReifel. He was born July 12, 1908, in Star. He received a degree in pharmacy from the University of Idaho, Southern Branch, Pocatello. He later received a degree in medicine from Washington University Medical School, St. Louis. He interned at County Hospital, St. Louis, for a year. He then worked at Missouri State School and Hospital. He married Eleanor Green on Dec. 31, 1935, in St. Louis. In 1937, he started a medical practice with another doctor inWashington Hotel,Weiser, and continued to practice medicine until the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife of Weiser; a son, Lloyd of Los Angeles; two daughters, Barbara Davis of Boise and Linda Ross of Reno; three sisters, Fay Kopke of Boise, Edna McCown of Portland, and Mabel Grove of Nampa; and six grandchildren.
