Jeweler Succumbs To Month Illness
M.L. Vial, 68, a Clovis jeweler, passed away at the Baptist hospital here early Friday morning after an illness of nearly a month.
No funeral services were held here, but the body was sent today to Cassville, Mo., his old home, for interment.
Vial came to Clovis from Weiser, Idaho, last November and opened a jewelry and music goods business at 504 Main Street. He had been in business in Idaho for more than forty years before coming to Clovis.
He is survived by a widow here, and by four adult sons and daughters, none of whom live here.
