Henry Jasper Bostick

Henry Bostick of Weiser Dies
WEISER (Special)—Henry Jasper Bostick, 86, pioneer resident of Weiser, died Tuesday following an extended illness.
A resident of Weiser for over 60 years, Mr. Bostick operated a grocery store here for 22 years, retiring in 1946.
He was born May 28, 1866, in Gate City, Va., and was a school teacher in Virginia, Tennessee, and Nebraska before settling in Weiser in 1902.
Mr. Bostick was married in 1894 at Kyles Ford, Tenn., to Martha Ann Anderson, who preceded him in death in 1939.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Lingel and Mrs. Geneva Gould, both of Caldwell, and Mrs. Eva Patrick, Weiser; a stepson, Ezra Anderson, Weiser; a brother, M.H. Bostick, Portland; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Northam-Jones Chapel with the Rev. O. L. Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest.
