Delbert Bowman
Delbert Allyn Bowman, 64, of Keyport died Oct. 27, 1998, at his home after a long illness.
He was born May 12, 1934, in Weiser, Idaho, to Allyn and Pearl Bowman. He was raised in Weiser, graduating from Weiser High School in 1952.
On Nov. 2, 1957, he married Janice Rae Kuhn in Weiser, Idaho. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Bowman served in the Navy for three years. He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a nuclear welding engineer technician from 1964 to 1991. He was a member of the Paws and Taws Square Dancing Club and the Mountain Cloggers.
Survivors include a son, Steven, of Marysville; a daughter, Connie Grable, of Poulsbo; a brother, David, of Georgetown, Texas; two sisters, Barbara McNeish, of Billings, Mont., and Linda Pearson, of Lincoln, Mont.; his mother, Pearl, of Billings, Mont.; and five grandchildren, Rusty and Amber Grable, both of Poulsbo, and Steven Bowman II and Jesika and Zakery Bowman, all of Marysville.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Brownsville Yacht Club, 9756 A. Ogle Road NE, Bremerton.
