July 1, 1921 – Oct. 16, 1961
Mrs. Phyllis L. Reed, 39, of 303 Palmer, died Monday at her home. Mrs. Reed had been suffering from multiple sclerosis for the past 13 years. She was born July 1, 1921, in Weiser and graduated from high school there.
She was a graduate of the University of Idaho and took internship training as a dietitian at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. She married Henry F. Reed on March 18, 1943, in Moscow. The couple moved to Boise in 1949. Mr. Reed is a local attorney. Mrs. Reed was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the American Dietetic Association. She is survived by her husband; one son, Steven Royal Reed of Boise; her father, John Lowe of Weiser; four sisters, Mrs. Edith Warren of Weiser; Mrs. Bess McClure of Bellevue; Mrs. Doris Arnold of Boise; and Mrs. Patricia Mazur of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, John E. Lowe of Albuquerque.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Relyea Chapel. Interment will be at Rosedale in Payette at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
