Angel Wings Network

Our Mission is to support cancer patients and families who have been touched with cancer in our rural communities.
Our Vision is to continue growing as an outreach location within rural communities of Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Our service area is within a 70-mile radius of Weiser, ID, which includes 17 rural communities.  We strive to be a recognized name and place for cancer patients, caregivers, survivors, and their families to find hope, faith, and support. We also want to help educate the public and increase awareness of all types of cancer for support and representation.
We are here to help our patients in many ways. Some of the ways in which we help are by offering reliable transportation with one of our generous volunteers. Our friendly and reliable volunteer drivers are trained and certified to provide dependable transportation.
If a patient has dependable transportation but lacks the funds, we can help with the cost of travel to their cancer treatments and appointments. We offer gas cards to help offset the expense of travel.
We can also help with food and meals in a couple of ways. We offer restaurant gift cards, certificates, grocery store gift cards, and we can arrange for prepared meals or organize a meal train.
Our volunteers can provide emotional support and guidance to not only the patient and their family but also their caregivers.  Each of our volunteers has a unique experience with cancer that makes it easier to relate to our patients.
Every new patient will also receive a comfort care bag that contains gift items and a prayer blanket to comfort the patient on their journey.
All of these services are offered as/if needed.
