B. Clyde Mackey, 60, died yesterday in St. Luke’s Hospital, Pasadena, following a brief illness. He was a native of Utah and had lived in Laguna Beach for 33 years where he was active in the real estate business. Mr. Mackey made his home at 272 Crescent Dr., Laguna Beach. Mr. Mackey was active in civic affairs and was among the founders of the Festival of Arts productions.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda of the family home; two daughters, Barbara Mackey of Laguna Beach and Mrs. Ernest Schultz of Monrovia; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Mackey, a brother, Joel, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Kiethley, all of Visalia. Funeral services will be held at  2 p.m, tomorrow in the Laguna Funeral services will be held at Beach Funeral Home with interment following in Fairhaven Cemetery.
