BONNIE J. (HAY) WALKER
Bonnie J. (Hay) Walker, 89 of Weiser passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 at her home. Services are pending under the direction of the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11 am at the Weiser Christian Church with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will be at the church prior to the services from 9 – 11 am. Services are under the direction of the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario.
Bonnie was born and raised in Weiser, Idaho, In her high school years she was active in many things and being a cheerleader. She attended college in Nampa, Idaho.
She married ROBERT (Bob) WALKER on November 26, 1946, of this union 2 children were born,. Bonnie enjoyed her Church along with membership in Idaho Upsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Eastern Star and many hours of Bridge playing.
Bonnie and Bob served together as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron of Eastern Star. Bonnie worked for the Weiser School District for 32 years until retiring in 1985. During her years of work with the School District the Pine Burr year book was dedicated to her twice.

After retirement Bonnie & Bob enjoyed traveling the Northwest US and Canada, McCormarck Park in Hells Canyon was a favorite fall outing. Throughout Bonnie’s travels she was in 50 states and almost all the capitals she also traveled abroad to her grandfather’s roots in Scotland she also visited Johnson City, Tenn., where her mother was from. After Robert passed away Bonnie stayed active by going to Church,traveling, Playing Bridge and enjoying all Weiser High School sports.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Robert, mother and Father, her brother and sister.
Bonnie is survived Daughter& son in-law, Susan & Jim Sapp, Son & daughter in- law Jon C & Elise Walker. Grandchildren, Garrett and Bradley Axtell, Nick & Carrie Carter, Joanne Carter, Zack & Sarah Walker, Ashley Franek, Jamie & Chris Booth Bonnie was blessed with 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Bonnie’s name to” Love in the Name of Christ” of Washington County ( LOVE INC).
