DIED—At Weiser, Idaho, Friday, October 1899, about 43 years. Mr. Adams’s death was caused by paralysis; he lived but 18 hours after he was stricken. He was well and favorably known in these parts, coming here early in the year ’91, when he followed teaming as a method of gaining a livelihood.
He was a member of the Woodmen of America and carried a policy in that order for $1,000. He leaves a wife, two brothers, and two sisters, as well as aged parents to mourn his departure. All live at Weiser. The many friends of the deceased at this place sympathize with the family in their sad loss.
It was reported here that Mr. Adams was poisoned by eating fruit from a tree that had been sprayed with Paris green, but that story is entirely without foundation.
