Donald Crook
Donald F. Crook, 60, of Boise, died, November 30, 1991, at home of natural causes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Sacred Heart Catholid Church. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise. Arrangements are direction of the Cloverdale Funeral Home.
Donald was born Oct. 15, 1931 at Weiser, Idaho, the only child of Elisha and Edna Crook. He met and married Gerrie Baudek of Weiser, faithfully married for 39 years.
Donald was a graduate of Weiser High School, and veteran of the Korean War. He later graduated from Fresno City College. 
He worked for National General Theatres and Olmpius Advertising Co. in Stockton, Calif. Returning to Boise in 1969, he became owner and operator of The Advertiser & TV Week until his retirement in 1983.
Following retirement, Donald enjoyed oil painting and the love of his family and grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was watching and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers.
Survivors  include his wife, Gerrie F. Crook; a son Steven Crook; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Tracy Crook; and a son and daughter-in-law, Blair and Penne Crook, all of Boise; a daughter and son-in-law, Kara and John Schoonover of Phoenix, Ariz; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew Crook of Boise; his mother-in-law, Martha Baudek of Payette; a sister-in-law, Fran Dingel and family;and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Bishop Kelly Foundation Scholarship Fund, 7009 Franklin Road, Boise 83704; or to the American Heart Association.
Friends may call today from 1-8p.m at the Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise.
