Ella Lindsay, Idaho Native, Dies in Emmett
EMMETT — Mrs. Ella D. Lindsay, 69, of Emmett, a native Idahoan, died Friday morning at an Emmett hospital following a long illness. Born April 23, 1888, in Boise, Mrs. Lindsay moved with her parents to Emmett, where she attended school. She had resided in Mountain Home from 1930 to 1952, when she returned to make her home in Emmett.
Mrs. Lindsay was married to Ruben Lindsay on Oct. 13, 1935, at Mountain Home. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving, in addition to Mr. Lindsay, are two sons, Alton J. Heath of Emmett and Max L. Heath of Winston, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Way of Montour and Mrs. Delpha Johnson of Boise; a sister, Mrs. Katie Swearingen of Emmett; a brother, George Arthur of McCall; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Beatty Chapel with Pastor R. A. Garner officiating. Interment will be at Brownlee.
