Emma Frances Parker

Services for Emma Frances Parker, 95, of Salem, who died Tuesday, will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Mount Crest Abbey Mausoleum.
She was born in Weiser, Idaho, and she was a longtime Salem resident. She had owned and operated a grocery store on Market Street for many years, and she also had worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles before retiring in 1957. She married Virgil L. Parker in 1917 in Boise. He died in 1959. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Salem.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Jan Wright of Chehalis, Wash.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to noon Friday at Rigdon-Ransom Mortuary.
