May 17, 1918 – Aug. 8, 2001
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, in Mt. Scott Funeral Home for Paul “Emmett” Raney, who died Aug. 8 at age 83.
Mr. Raney was born May 17, 1918, in the Oregon Side area, located between Ontario, Ore., and Weiser, Idaho. He moved in 1957 to Milwaukie. He was an office manager for Cranston Machine Co. in Oak Grove. In 1947, he married Mary A. Gelskey.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Gary L. and Dale R.; sisters, Alta Holm and Lucille Purcell; brothers, Melvin and Clarence; and two grandchildren.
Interment in Willamette National Cemetery.
