AN EXPRESSION ON SUFFRAGE
From Numerous Ladies of Weiser Upon their Personal Desires Regarding Suffrage.
We have previously asserted our belief that if the women could do all the voting on the question of Woman’s Suffrage, they would vote it down. But if it should be that the female portion of our state in the majority desire such a law, we would be the first to vote for it, as there is no question in our mind as to inalienable ‘rights’ in the matter. To start a move to ascertain female sentiment it was decided to interview all the women of Weiser upon their individual desires. As far as the work was accomplished, the following is the result:
