Services for Gary Alan Jackson, 25, Boise, formerly of Weiser, who drowned Dec. 19, 1981, in a boating accident on the Weiser River and was found March 27, 1982, in the Snake River near Huntington, Ore., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Thomason’s Northam-Jones Funeral Home, Weiser, by the Rev. Leonard Reifel of Payette. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser.
He was born Jan. 10, 1956, to Charles and Hope Heleker Jackson in Weiser, where he was reared and educated. He graduated from Weiser High School in 1974. He had been working on the construction of modular homes at Kaufman and Broad Home Systems Inc in Boise for two years.
Survivors include his parents of Weiser, three sisters, Mrs. Ken (Janet) Koskella of China Lake, Calif., Mrs. John (Gail) Allmer of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Mrs. Tom (Debra) Prince of Norfolk, Va., a grandmother, Edna Heleker, and a grandfather, Delbert H. Jackson, both of Weiser, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children or the Elks Rehabilitation Hospital.
