Helen Jones
Helen K. (Jones) Waller, 89  passed away October 12, 2009 at a care facility in Boise. She was born Mrch 1, 1920 in Fruitland, Idaho to Samuel and Ottilili (Motchall) Baer, the youngest of four children.  After her mother’s tragic death in 1921, Helen was adopted by Charles and Fina  Jones in Weiser. She grew up and graduated from Weiser High School.
At the Weiser Church of the Nazarene, she met Charles Waller. They married there on Christmas Day, 1942 in the middle of World War II. After the war they settled in Nampa and were members of College Church of the Nazarene. They had a daughter, Cheryl in 1948. In 1957 they moved to Boise where Helen worked as a secretary for Ralston Purina Co., 1st Security Bank, and BSU. She was a member of Boise First Church of the Nazarene for about 50 years and lived in the same house for 50 years.

In her earlier years she enjoyed reading, walking, gardening and scrapbooking. Last year she moved to Hillcrest Retirement and Assisted Living as her health started to fail.
She is survived by one brother, Henry Baer of Rathdrum; a daughter Cheryl Rebeck of Boise; and three grandchildren, Jason and Stacy Rebeck of Minnesota, and Lindsey Rebeck of Boise.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers – Russell and Bill Baer and son-in-law, Robert Rebeck.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4225 E. Fairview Ave., immediately following at 11 a.m. there will be memorial service at New Hope Church of the Nazarene or to a charity of your choice in her name.
