J. Ethel McBane
NAMPA — Services for J. Ethel McBane, 85, of 573 Eleventh Avenue South, who died Thursday evening in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Flitcroft Funeral Chapel, Nampa, by Rev. Thomas W. Wilbanks of the First Congregational Church, Nampa. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 17, 1890, in Missouri and was reared and educated there and in Weiser. She later attended the Lewiston Normal School for teacher education and taught in Washington and Idaho.
On July 12, 1922, she married Daniel L. McBane at Donnelly, and they made their home in Nampa.
She was a member of Nampa Chapter No. 8, OES, and the First Congregational Church.
Surviving are a son, Bruce N. McBane of Gibsonia, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Siron of Glenns Ferry; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972.
