Jacqueline Marie (Dolan) Farrell, 74, died February 7, 1997, at St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Weiser, Idaho, she was the daughter of the late Nina Hanson and John Dolan, and the wife of the late retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Andrew R. Farrell.
A retired paralegal, she was instrumental in founding the Greenville Association of Legal Assistants, serving as president, and was Registrar of Mesne Conveyance for Greenville County. She retired from the law firm of Bozeman, Grayson, Smith and
She attended Brigham Young University, Furman University, and Greenville Technical College.
Surviving are a son, Richard Farrell and his wife, Mary “Tut” of Charlotte; five daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Larry Jameson of Lakeland, Fla., Patty and Tom Matthews of Lithonia, Ga., Bridget and Webb Matthews of Northglenn, Colo., Barbara and John Keller of Lilburn, Ga., and Andrea and Charlie Cox of Greenville; 12 grandchildren, Alex and Drew Farrell of Charlotte, Brian Jameson and wife, Jessica, of Cherry Hill, NJ, David Jameson of Lakeland, Fla., Matt and Katie Matthews of Lithonia, Ga., SPC Andy Matthews of Germany, Ben, James, and Mary Colleen Matthews of Northglenn, Colo., Catherine Keller of Lilburn, Ga., and Meredith Cox of Greenville.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 338 W. Washington St., Greenville, S.C. 29601.
Services: 3:30 p.m. Monday at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with Father Charles McPadden officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
