John Karl Durbin, 69, died Thursday in an Emmett hospital after a long illness. Born May 4, in Fallbrook, Calif., he was married to Inez Tice in Pasadena, Calif., on Nov. 13, 1913. After residing in Arizona and Minnesota, he moved to the Boise Valley. Mr. Durbin was married to Ida Richardson on June 19, 1944, in Walla Walla, Wash. He was a member of the LDS Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, John Lyle Durbin of Boise and Chester Tice Durbin of McCall; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Raynor and Agnes Elaine Durbin, both of Boise; three stepsons, Frank and Russell Richardson of Emmett, and Robert Richardson of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Olive Webster of Palo Alto, Calif., and Mrs. Jeanette Coon of Pomona, Calif.; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Beatty chapel with Bishop Lurel Hall officiating. Interment will be at Brownlee.
