Searching Tip – Use the least amount of words necessary, and choose the correct name from the results. (e.g. “Jones,” not “T Jones,” “T. Jones,” “TS Jones,” “T.S. Jones,” “Ted Jones,” etc. – just “Jones.”)
This was an important radio station to the Weiser young folk, as this was the first local station to play rock & roll in the evenings.
Even though it was for only a couple of hours a day, can you imagine how rock & roll became the magnet that drew young people into a new and different age – everyone (especially me) was ready to move on from:
“Down in the meadow in the ittie bitty pool, swam the three little fishies and a mama fishie too, ‘Swim’ said the mama fishie, ‘Swim if you can’ And they swam, swam, swam right over the dam.”
