The father of Mr. Herbert [Oliver] Lang died here on the 24th, of March, He had just come to the camp, accompanying Mr. and Mrs. Lang on their return from California.

His death was very sudden as he was taken sick Sunday and died Tuesday, The deceased was buried on the 25th, ult. in the Mineral Cemetery by the Masonic order. All work was suspended and a large procession followed the remains to their resting place
