Lowell K. Anderson
WEISER — Services for Lowell Kenneth Anderson, 58, a longtime Weiser resident who died Monday at his home in Weiser, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Weiser Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Laurel J. Anderson. Interment will be at Hillcrest under the direction of Northam-Jones Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 27, 1910, at Cardston, Alberta, Canada. In 1918 he came with his family to a farm in the Weiser area. He was graduated from Weiser High School. He operated a dairy farm near Weiser until 1968, when he sold it and moved into town. He married Lucille Compton April 22, 1936, at Weiser. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald, in 1956. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving besides his wife of Weiser are four sons, Lowell Darr Anderson, Payette, Roger Anderson, Provo, Utah, Fred Anderson, serving an LDS mission in Holland, and Vernon Anderson, attending Boise State College; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Sandra) Young, Payette, and Mrs. Ron (Diana) Sinclair, Monroe, Utah; two brothers, Ross Anderson, Reno, and F. Jim Anderson, Weiser; and four sisters, Mrs. Sheldon (Ruth) Alder, Weiser, Mrs. M. E. (Lucille) Thompson, San Dimas, Calif., Mrs. Sam (Verna) Lemon, Blackfoot, and Mrs. Walter (LaPriel) Stephan, Anchorage, Alaska; and 11 grandchildren.
His daughter Diane Anderson graduated in 1961.
