Mabel L. Holm, passed away during the evening of March 17, 2010 in Boise.  She was born in Weiser, Idaho on July 4, 1915. She was the 7th child of John and Anna Warren. When she graduated college she taught in Weiser until moving to Portland Oregon during World War II. After the War she met Hayden Holm they married June 14, 1947. While her sons were in high school she returned to her previous occuption, teaching.  When Hayden retired they moved to Boise and continued to spend their summers in McCall, a place that Mabel had visited and enjoyed immensely, every summer since childhood.
In McCall Mabel made a point to take many walks over serveral miles every day, often times leaving those many years her junior far behind. She would also traverse through the forest picking huckleberries, sharing only with close family members where her secret spots were. In the evenings she enjoyed boating around Payette Lake with her sons. Mabel will be missed for her sharp sense of humor and love for  her family.
Mabel was preced in death by her husband Hayden. She is survived by son Richard his wife Ellen, their children Richard Holm and,  Katie Wardwll (Will); son Steven, his wife Susan and their daughter Emily; and Mabel’s brother, Norman Warren (Edith).
