Margaret D. “Dani” (McAuley) Duclos, passed away April 15, 2009 at the home of her nephew in Port Angeles, Wash.

Margaret was born in Weiser, Idaho on July 10, 1920 to Robert P. and Christina (Syme) McAuley. Her family moved to Cascade where she attended school. She then went on to the University of Idaho to study P. E. and Education. While at the U of I she was a member of the Spurs as well as Beta Sigma Phi, Nu Master Chapter.

On Oct. 16, 1952 she married Lawrence M. Duclos in Payette, Idaho. Mr. Duclos passed away in May of 2000. Both Mr. and Mrs. Duclos will be remembered as teachers at Weiser High School. Also preceding her in death are her parents and a sister, Catharine Wheeler. She is survived by her nephew Bob Wheeler of Port Angeles; as well as many cousins in the area.

A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday, April 22, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weiser, Id., at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lienkaemper-thomason.com.
