Modern Dairy

Caldwell Man Buys Weiser’s Modern Dairy
(The Statesman Idaho Wire)
WEISER—The sale of Modern Dairy equipment, including delivery trucks, bottles, and the milk route, to M. G. Muller of Caldwell, was announced Friday by John L. Alderson, who has operated the Modern Dairy here for slightly more than 11 years. Muller, who owns and operates a dairy business in Caldwell, will take charge of the Modern Dairy on May 1, according to Alderson.
Alderson has exclusively handled raw milk, but under Muller’s new management, both raw and pasteurized milk will be sold. Additionally, deliveries will be made to consumers every other day.
Alderson, who moved to Weiser in 1934 from Illinois where he had been in the dairy business for 16 years, plans to engage in farming on his ranch located a short distance south of Weiser.
