Reverend Hilda Kelles

Reverend Hilda I. Kelles (83) Passed away February 27, 2008. She was born February 28, 1924, to Oliver and Ruby Turnidge in Weiser, Idaho. Hilda was involved in ministry at Unity Church for over 60 years and was a foster parent to over 20 children.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Judith) Kellis of Spokane; daughter, Sharon Hunt of Spokane; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Opal Clapp of Arizona; and brother, Sheldon (Ethel) Turnidge of Arizona.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Unity Church, corner of 29th Avenue and Bernard, with Pastor Rich Broderhausen officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to: Unity Center of North Spokane, P.O. Box 28127, Spokane, WA 99228.
