Founded in 1950, Weiser Memorial Hospital (WMH) was established with funding from Washington County, The City of Weiser and individual donors. We now offer a wide range of health care and related services through the addition of our Surgical and Specialty Clinic. We are now supported in part by the Washington County taxpayers, through the Washington County Hospital Taxing District, with all revenues going back to the hospital’s mission in the form of services, facilities, personnel, and equipment.
WMH is guided by a volunteer Board of Trustees elected by the Washington County taxpayers.
WMH serves Washington, Adams and Payette Counties.
WMH is a Licensed 25 bed critical access hospital in Weiser.
The WMH emergency department offers 24 hour urgent care, medical imaging, blood testing and more.
The Weiser Valley Round-Up and Fair began as a benefit rodeo for the construction of the Weiser Hospital. Despite all of the fanfare and excitement of the rodeo and fair, possibly the most exciting presentation of the whole event, that still serves the residents of Washington County to this day, was the presentation of 14 city lots from the American Legion to the Weiser Hospital Association for the construction of a hospital. In addition to the land, all of the net proceeds of the rodeo was given to the hospital board to add to the construction fund.
